This is a beginning silversmithing class, taught by local Texan artist, Cindy Gentry.
You will be creating 2 projects where you will learn methods of wire work, soldering, forming and finishing using basic hand tools and surface embellishments. Because we are working with wire, the soldering will be delicate but allow for a great experience in heat control and set up. You will be forming and finishing with methods that you can incorporate in later metal work. This is a fun beginner class where you will walk away with a lovely set of earrings and matching pendent!
Cindy will be providing the beads but feel free to bring your own. All tools and supplies will be available for use.
